Privacy policy
Effective date: September 16th 2026
1Who we are
Thriv (“Thriv,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website trythriv.co (the “Site”) and sells dietary supplement products directly to consumers. Thriv is operated as a sole proprietorship by Zach Canavan. You can reach us at info@trythriv.co.
2 Scope
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through the Site, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It applies to visitors, customers, and account holders of the Site. It does not apply to third-party sites we may link to.
3 Information we collect
Information you give us directly — name, email, shipping/billing address, and phone number when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to recurring shipments, sign up for emails, or contact support; your order and subscription history; and anything you send us through the contact form.
Information collected automatically — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring pages, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from third parties — our payment processor shares limited transaction confirmation data with us (such as payment status, the last four digits of a card, and billing name); we never receive or store full card numbers. Our analytics and advertising partners may share aggregate or pseudonymous data about how you interact with our ads or the Site.
Payment information — payment is processed by Shopify Payments (or another payment provider enabled at checkout), which collects payment details directly under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations. We do not directly collect or store full card numbers.
Flagged: exact payment processor inferred from the checkout stack (Shopify Payments / Shop Pay), not independently confirmed.4 How we use your information
- Fulfill and manage orders, subscriptions, and returns
- Communicate with you about your order, account, or support requests
- Send marketing communications where permitted, and honor opt-outs
- Improve the Site, our products, and the customer experience
- Detect and prevent fraud and abuse
- Comply with tax, accounting, and consumer-protection recordkeeping obligations
- Analyze aggregate usage trends using the tools described in Section 6
5 How we share your information
We share personal information only as needed, with:
- Shopify, Inc., which hosts the Site and processes orders on our behalf
- Our payment processor, to process payments
- Google LLC (Google Analytics), to understand how the Site is used
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta/Facebook Pixel), to measure and deliver advertising
- Shipping and fulfillment partners, to deliver your order
- Professional advisors and government authorities, where required by law
We do not sell personal information for money. Sharing data with advertising partners for ad targeting may count as a “sale” or “sharing” under some state privacy laws — see Section 8 for your opt-out choices.
6 Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies for:
- Essential functions — cart, checkout, and security, which can't be switched off
- Analytics — Google Analytics, to understand how visitors use the Site
- Advertising — the Meta/Facebook Pixel, to measure and personalize ads
On your first visit, a cookie banner lets you Accept All or Reject Non-Essential cookies. Rejecting disables analytics and advertising cookies; essential cookies are unaffected. You can change your choice anytime using “Cookie Preferences” in the footer. Where legally required, we treat the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as an opt-out request.
7 Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes in this policy, including tax, accounting, and legal record keeping, generally 5-7 years after your last transaction — after which we delete or anonymize it.
8 Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, request a copy, request correction or deletion, opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. To exercise these rights, email info@trythriv.co. We may need to verify your identity before processing certain requests.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Security
We use commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11 International users and data transfers
The Site is intended primarily for users in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
12 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new effective date, and highlight material changes where required by law.
